THE SEMINAR DIGITALIZATION IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ENTERPRISES

The fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0), based on digital technology platform and integrating all smart technologies to optimize processes, methods & data exchange in manufacturing technology, has taken place on a global scale. Digitalization is one of the objective & inevitable requirements for businesses to develop sustainably.

Currently, in Ba Ria Vung Tau province (BRVT), about 98% of enterprises are small and medium ones. The digitization of the whole province is facing many difficult barriers such as understanding of technology and development trends, investment capacity, ensuring high-quality human resources to master new technologies, etc. and the most important thing is to specify the optimal digitalization plan to be applied in each business.

Understanding the necessary requirements of the locality, the Union of Science and Technology Associations of BRVT province (VUSTA) cooperated with the Management Board of Industrial Parks of BRVT Province (BIZA) and East Sea Technology Engineering Electrical Automation Co., Ltd. (ESTEC) has successfully organized the seminar “DIGITALIZATION IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ENTERPRISES” on May 20 at the Convention Center of Palace Hotel, Vung Tau City.

Attending the workshop were a number of Leaders of relevant departments, agencies and Representatives of more than 100 businesses operating in BRVT province. Here, information and presentations closely related to the conference's topic were fully conveyed to the conference guests by experts from VUSTA, BIZA, ESTEC and Siemens as technology partner. The special interest of the business community was shown through the information shared by the parties and the Q&A session at the conference.

With 4 main presentations on Digitalization Model for Manufacturing Enterprises, Production Information Management System (MIS), Production Execution Management System (MES) and Smart Production Management System XHQ, the seminar “DIGITALIZATION IN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION ENTERPRISES” took place successfully, creating a bridge between industrial production enterprises and consultants – solution provider for digitalization, actively supporting enterprises operating in BRVT province quickly approach new technology trends & solutions, step by step apply them to actual production and business activities, contributing to improving the competitiveness of enterprises in the marketplace.
