UPGRADE CONTROLLER CEMAT - INSEE THI VAI

Scope: Upgrade CEMAT Controller.

In 2017, the project successfully upgraded the DCS (Distributed Control System) for the Thi Vai grinding station, originally built in 2004, to the latest Siemens DCS version using Simatic PCS 7 and CEMAT V8.2—a specialized control system for cement plants. This upgrade reduced system downtime by 50%.

In 2019, a Flender gearbox was supplied for the rotary kiln at the Hon Chong plant, helping increase the plant’s production capacity by 10%.

In 2021, ESTEC replaced the 20-year-old gearbox of the coal mill with a Flender KMP 300 gearbox designed for vertical mills at the Hon Chong plant.
